RACE PROCEEDURES

Every event will have a $5 Pit Pass (practice fee) that is for the track power.

Entry Fees are $15 per race (includes a Kelly Bullet  or Slick 7 Mini-Brute motor)

All classes will run 3 minute heats / 2 minutes off.
Races will be conducted using a round-robin format if less than 11 people.
12 or more will be split up into semi's. After the running of the semi's, the laps from all semi's will be sorted by overall lap/section totals. Only special events will run move up semi's and a main which will be published with the event details.

Lane assignement will be determined by a pill draw when car is teched.

Must use some sort of lane marker between heats. (EX. Lane Change Card, keys, previous lane sticker, etc.....)

Turn Marshalling (or Corner Working)
1. If you race, you marshal! You marshal that entire main or semi that the race director called for you. Failure to do so will cost you laps.
      1st offense - 10 laps
      2nd offense - 25 laps
3rd offense - DQ from that race

2. Marshalling will require a rotating assignment. You will not work the same spot all race long. However if the racer has physical limitations, they may ask someone to swap for that heat. (EX. inujured knee? ... doesn't need to be kneeling by the cross under spots.)

Black Flag
Any car suffering damage that makes it a hazard to other drivers, due to constant de-slotting will be black-flagged.

A car that is black-flagged must be immediately removed from the track until proper repairs are made. Failure to comply with a black flag will result in the driver’s disqualification from the race.

Conduct
The Race Director, at his/her sole discretion, can issue a warning to a driver exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct. A second offense will cause the driver to suffer a fifteen lap penalty. A third offense will result in the driver’s disqualification from the race and possibly the rest of the days activities.

Track Calls
Track calls will permitted ONLY under the following conditions:
An umarshallable car in the straight in front of the Drivers, or on an inaccessible part of the racing surface.
An umarshallable car under a bridge or on the floor in an inaccessible location. A car on the floor is NOT automatically a track call.
 A car landing in another racer’s lane, i. e. a “rider”.
Note: If a marshal has more than one car to re-slot is NOT a track call.

Missed Laps
In-race lap total adjustment will be made at the discretion of the Race Director, as each track and lap counting system is different. Race officials will review the missed laps adjustment policy at each event and communicate it to the racers.
